Russian companies are currently keeping up with the latest technological solutions. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the international conference on artificial intelligence AI Journey 2024 in Moscow on December 11.

"It is extremely important that domestic companies are quickly taking all these innovations and achievements into work, keeping up with the times," the Russian leader said, referring to the progress of artificial intelligence and generative models.

In addition, noting the possibilities of generative models, the head of state pointed to the coming revolution in engineering, design, construction of new components and entire devices.

Putin also pointed out that the restrictions imposed by the West on Russia are pushing the country to develop in the field of artificial intelligence.

At the same event, Putin commented on the AI-assisted processing of appeals that citizens send to the direct line. He said that thanks to the work of the GigaChat service, it is possible to see the most popular topics of Russians' appeals. This is the first experience of using AI for a direct line.
