The first UAZ dealership center opened in the DNR

The first official UAZ dealership center was opened in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), where residents of the region will be able to service and repair their cars. This was announced by the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin in his Telegram channel on December 11.
He said that the Ulyanovsk automobile plant will establish direct deliveries of cars to the DNR, will conduct its warranty and service maintenance. Therefore, thanks to the signed agreement, the waiting time for spare parts will be reduced and the quality of service of vehicles will be improved, Pushilin noted.
"Today at a meeting with the governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexei Russkikh we discussed the development of cooperation between our regions, including the work of a dealership center for UAZ vehicles in the republic. <...> In the conditions of a special military operation, we have clearly established that reliable and passable UAZ vehicles are faithful helpers both in civilian life and at the front," he wrote.
As Alexei Russky said in his Telegram-channel, plans to expand the presence of UAZ to Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.
Earlier, on November 28, it was reported that the Ulyanovsk automobile plant will upgrade the paint complex before the start of production of pickup trucks under the Sollers brand, due to which the quality of paintwork of "UAZs" will increase.
On November 1, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant started selling Hunter SUVs with a new engine. UAZ "Hunter" received a 2.7 liter ZMZ Pro engine, which until recently was equipped only with "Patriot", "Pickup" and "Pro" cars. "Atmospheric" corresponds to the Euro-5 economy standards, develops a quarter more power (149.6 hp) and 15% more torque (235 Nm).
