The Russian Federation will allocate another 14 billion rubles for soft loans in rural areas

The Russian government will allocate about 14 billion rubles to subsidize soft loans in programs aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens in rural areas. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on December 11, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Residents of rural areas have the opportunity to apply for a soft loan for the improvement of their homes, including water and gas supply, the Prime Minister said. In the federal budget in 2024, over 24 billion rubles were provided for these mechanisms, recently another 11.5 billion rubles were allocated to ensure the servicing of previously taken loans.

"Today we will allocate about 14 billion rubles in addition for such purposes. But this, respectively, will allow to prosubsidize such loans for almost the last three months of this year and to maintain at the same level of rates for more than 170 thousand already concluded loan agreements," - said Mishustin.

Earlier, on December 2, Mishustin said that the Russian government will allocate 57.5 billion rubles to subsidize soft loans for the agro-industrial complex. This is necessary for enterprises and individual entrepreneurs to continue to work successfully.

On November 29, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said that the Russian government is working on the issue of allocating additional funds to the Ministry of Agriculture for investment projects in 2025, the total amount will be 40 billion rubles.
