The city court of Sevastopol has sentenced a 48-year-old local resident Anton Cherny to 13 years in prison for transferring information about the facilities of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation. This was reported on December 11 by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia.

The court found that the man cooperated with the Ukrainian Border Guard Service from September 2023 to February 2024. On their assignment in Yalta and Sevastopol, Chernyy photographed objects and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces, collected information about their location and sent it to the Ukrainian side.

In August, law enforcement officers suppressed the man's activities. He was found guilty under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High Treason").

"The court sentenced Black to 13 years of imprisonment with serving his sentence in a penal colony of strict regime with restriction of freedom for one year and a fine of 300 thousand rubles," - stated in the message of the Department.

Earlier, on December 9, the Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced a 33-year-old resident of Simferopol district, found guilty of treason, to 15 years in prison. It is established that the man from December 2022 to March 2023 collected and transmitted in messenger information about the movement of the Russian army on the highway "Tavrida", as well as about the military facility under construction to representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The information could have been used against the state security of the Russian Federation. Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in Crimea and Sevastopol stopped the actions of the man.
