The Russian Armed Forces destroyed AFU equipment and manpower in Kharkiv region with an FPV drone formation

An armored vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region with personnel inside has been destroyed by an FPV drone of the Northern Group of Forces. The corresponding footage was shared by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 11.

"The servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" grouping of troops in Kharkiv region with the help of UAVs identified an enemy armored combat vehicle (ACV), which was transporting AFU servicemen," the ministry said in a statement.

It specified that after analyzing the intelligence, the detected target was promptly destroyed using FPV drone.

"The means of objective control recorded a direct hit on the moving UAV of the AFU fighters", - added in the Defense Ministry.

"Drive the enemy further into the stall so they don't come out again."

Earlier, on December 8, the Russian Armed Forces' "North" troop grouping also struck at the area of concentration of Ukrainian militants' manpower and equipment in Kharkiv region. As a result of the use of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system, the Ukrainian militants' hideouts were destroyed.

On the same day, it was reported that the Russian military struck an AFU dugout and ammunition depot in Kharkiv region. The strikes were carried out by FPV drones near the village of Shiykovka.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
