A new highway tunnel that connected Moscow's Butyrsky and Maryina Roshcha districts has been opened in the capital. It passed under the tracks of MCD-4 in the area of Savelovsky railway station and much simplified the exit from Skladochnaya Street to Dvintsev and further to the TTC, the mayor of the city Sergey Sobyanin reported in his official Telegram-channel.

According to the mayor, this area is surrounded on three sides by the railroad, and for many years was quite depressive. Now the quarter is being built up with new houses, so it was necessary to solve the issue of transport accessibility.

"Now daily trips around the city will become faster and shorter for 135 thousand residents of two districts of the North-Eastern district of the capital," - said Sobyanin.

In plans - construction of intra-block roads and one more exit in the direction of Dobrolyubova Street. In the area of LCD "Pride" will erect an underground passage under the tracks D4. In addition, soon there will be a D2 railroad-pathway, which will connect Skladochnaya Street with Dobrolyubova Street. The new transportation link will connect the TTC with Milashenkova Street and facilitate the exit to Altufievskoye highway.
