The Prosecutor's Office organized an inspection into the death of a child with cerebral palsy in the Moscow region

The Prosecutor's Office of Moscow region has organized an inspection into the death of a child suffering from cerebral palsy from carbon monoxide poisoning in the village of Volochanovo in the urban district of Shakhovskaya. This was reported on December 11 in the Telegram-channel of the department.

"During the prosecutor's inspection <...> will be established the causes and conditions of the incident, assessed compliance with the requirements of the legislation on minors, as well as the actions of parents to fulfill their parental responsibilities," - said in the message of the Moscow Region prosecutor's office.

The agency also pointed to the control of the investigation of the criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence") against the grandmother of the dead child, in the house of which the boy's body was found.

According to the preliminary data of the GSU of the IC of Russia in the Moscow region, the pensioner left the disabled child in the house unattended.

"In the premises was flooded wood stove. At the moment when the doors of the house were opened by neighbors, clubs of smoke went from inside," - told in the office of the Investigative Committee.

The expert examination confirmed that the child died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The death of an eight-year-old boy suffering from cerebral p alsy in the Moscow region became known earlier in the day. According to the source of "Izvestiya", the child was under the care of his 60-year-old grandmother, who abused alcohol.

So, the elderly woman drank and fell asleep on the porch. Neighbors woke up the sleeping pensioner and, going into the house, found a dead child. The boy had burns on his shoulders and head. A criminal case was initiated against the woman.
