Media reported the death of Afghanistan's refugee minister in an explosion in Kabul

Afghan Minister for Refugees Khalil Rahman Haqqani was killed in an explosion in the center of Kabul. This was reported by Al Jazeera in its Telegram channel on December 11.

It is specified that the explosion occurred in the headquarters of the Ministry.

Ariana News TV channel, citing a "reliable source", confirmed that Haqqani was killed "as a result of a suicide attack in the ministry building".

Earlier, on Sept. 2, a terrorist attack in the Afghan capital, Kabul, left six people dead and 13 wounded.

Before that, on August 22, a similar tragedy occurred in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan. At least six students of a religious school were killed then.
