Sharp cold weather predicted in Stavropol Krai

Forecasters have predicted the onset of snowfalls and cold weather in the Stavropol Territory. The coldest night is expected on December 15.

December 11, the air temperature in the west of the region reaches +10...+15 degrees Celsius, in the east - up to +8 degrees Celsius. On December 12, a warm atmospheric front will move to the territory of Stavropol. It will bring rains, the air temperature will be from +1 degree at night to +9 degrees in the daytime. On December 13 and 14, a cold atmospheric front will begin its offensive. In some places there will be wet snow with a snowstorm. By the weekend, the temperature will drop to -6...-11 degrees at night and -2...-7 degrees in the daytime. The wind will increase to 16-21 m/s.

Earlier forecasters predicted a cold snap to -33 degrees Celsius in Primorye. A continental anticyclone is coming to the region.
