Lada Aura sedan for cab was shown at AvtoVAZ

AvtoVAZ has demonstrated a business sedan Lada Aura in the specification for passenger transportation. The footage was shared on December 11 by Izvestia correspondent from the company's plant in Togliatti. AvtoVAZ plans to produce a total of 1459 copies of Aura in December.

Lada Aura for cabs is available in the basic configuration Premier, which includes 16-inch disks and fabric upholstery seats instead of 17-inch and leather upholstery in the more expensive configuration Status.

Also in the list of equipment includes LED headlights and lights, air conditioning, heated steering wheel and all seats, deep tinting of rear windows, blind spot monitoring system, cruise control, multimedia with a 7-inch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four speakers and rearview camera, a package of additional noise insulation, front and front side airbags.

The length of Lada Aura is 4690 mm, which is 250 mm more than the sedan Lada Vesta, on the basis of which the novelty is built. The car is equipped with an atmospheric engine 1.8 Evo with an output of 122 hp (170 Nm) in conjunction with a variator, taken from the eastern partners. Maximum speed is 175 km/h, acceleration to a hundred takes 12.5 seconds, and fuel consumption in the mixed cycle is 7.8 liters per 100 km.

Sales of Lada Aura started on November 30. The model is presented in two configurations, the first costs from 2.6 million rubles, the second - from 2.8 million rubles.

November 28, it was reported that AvtoVAZ will present a new crossover segment B + on the platform Lada Vesta in the summer of 2025 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). A key project in 2025 will be the launch of Lada Iskra production, and one of the nearest new products will be the Niva Sport SUV. Upgrades to popular models are also planned, including the introduction of a more modern 1.8-liter engine on the Niva family.
