Sollers Atlant car started to be equipped with Russian transmission

Sollers Atlant received Russian six-speed gearbox. The power unit is produced at ZMZ industrial site and is installed on all Atlant modifications with a 2.7 diesel engine with an output of 150 hp. This is stated in the message of the company "Sollers", which was received by "Izvestia" on December 11.

The Russian manual transmission Sollers Atlant received following the low-tonnage trucks Sollers Argo. Sollers representatives noted that in less than two years since the start of production of the new line of light commercial vehicles Sollers company managed to localize diesel engines of 2.0 and 2.7 liters, gearboxes, stamped body parts, chassis components, exterior and interior parts, as well as electrics and electronics.

Now the company is preparing to launch production of safety system components - steering wheels, airbags and seat belts and electronic control units.

The Sollers Atlant model is the bestseller among the brand's light commercial vehicles. In the first 11 months of this year, 7,685 vehicles were sold - 1,144 copies more than in the same period of 2023.

On November 26, serial production of Sollers TR medium-duty trucks began at the new Sollers Komtrans facility on the site of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The enterprise is designed to produce a range of Sollers TR vehicles with GVW from 3.5 to 18 tons. The production area is about 4 thousand square meters, the total area of the enterprise is 16 thousand square meters.

On November 15, Sollers announced that in the coming year it plans to introduce 13 new models in Russia , including an SUV and a minivan. For example, next year the company will start production of Sollers SP7 minivans at its facility in Yelabuga. The start of sales is scheduled for September 2025.
