In Krasnoyarsk region, the court sentenced to life imprisonment in a special regime colony 46-year-old local resident Vladislav Kharlashin for abuse of a nine-year-old girl. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office on Wednesday, December 11.

According to the investigation, in November 2023, the man followed the girl and entered her apartment, where she lived with her mother. Using the helpless state of the child, he committed violence and recorded everything on the phone. When the girl's mother called her, the suspect threatened her with a knife to silence her about what had happened, after which he injected her with three drugs. As a result of the actions of the man, the nine-year-old was caused serious harm to health.

It is specified that at the time of the crime, the man had two outstanding convictions: for crimes against the sexual inviolability of minors (2008) and for robbery (2019).

The agency's Telegram channel said in a statement that the court found Kharlashin guilty of a series of serious crimes against a minor: death threats, sexual assault, drug trafficking, production of pornographic materials and illegal entry into a dwelling. He was sentenced to life in a special regime colony with compulsory psychiatric treatment.

The court also recovered compensation for moral damage in the amount of Br1 million in favor of the victim.
