In Kherson region, a man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for helping the AFU

The Kherson regional court has sentenced 36-year-old Anatoliy Belichko to 14 years in prison for cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and illegal manufacture and storage of explosives. This is reported on December 10 on the website of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation.
"The court found that in the period from August to October 2022 Belichko, while in Odessa, established contact with a representative of the AFU special operations forces in order to assist in activities against the interests of the Russian Federation," the agency said in a statement.
Having undergone training in mine-bombing and handling various types of weapons, he arrived in the Kherson region in March 2023 and obtained Russian Federation citizenship. Until September, Belichko collected operational information on the current socio-political situation in the regions and passed it to his leadership.
Earlier, on December 2, it became known that the man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for the transfer of data to the intelligence services of Ukraine about the radar surveillance and targeting complex in Sochi. In January, the defendant observed the departure of the aviation complex near Sochi international airport and transmitted information about the time and place of the event to the Ukrainian side.
