Orban declared the end of the liberal world order and change to come

The liberal world order is over, and in the future the countries that maximize their strengths will be the winners. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on December 10, speaking at the opening of the building of the Hungarian Veterinary University.
"Hungary is preparing to play its role in the international arena on a new basis. We do not want to follow the path paved by others, but we want to take advantage of our own history, our own economic structure and our own culture," Hirado TV channel quoted him as saying.
Orban said global change is coming, urging countries to use all their resources to avoid losing their relevance and sovereignty. He added that submission to global forces would lead to the loss of national identity and influence.
Earlier, on November 21, Orban said that the era of dominance of Western civilization is over, the strategy of Westernization of the whole world has failed. The politician noted that Asian states have become stronger and proved that they are able to exist economically and politically independent. That is why "the center of the world economy has shifted to the East, and the Eastern economies are growing four times faster than the Western ones," he said.
