Taganrog's utility systems have been damaged, resulting in heating disruptions in more than 20 apartment buildings, city head Svetlana Kambulova said on December 11.

"The boiler house on Tsiolkovsky Street has been damaged. Currently, 27 apartment buildings are without heat supply. Specialists plan to restore the damaged boiler house by 12:00," - wrote the mayor of Taganrog in her Telegram-channel.

At the same time, Kambulova urged residents not to panic and not to spread misleading information. She also asked not to post in social networks materials that can be used by opponents of the Russian Federation.

The head of Taganrog emphasized that the city was functioning in a normal mode.

Earlier in the day, Yury Slyusar, the acting governor of Rostov Region, said that an industrial enterprise was damaged and more than a dozen cars were burned down in Taganrog as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to preliminary information, no people were injured as a result of the attack.

Shortly before, at 03:32, Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported a fire as a result of a drone attack on a production plant in Bryansk. The fire was extinguished. Before that, at 02:22, the head of the Bryansk region reported that the region was attacked by 10 Ukrainian drones. There were no casualties.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
