Twin brothers Huseyn and Hasan told Izvestia on December 11 about their service in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.

"We start working - my brother already knows what I need. We can't trust - he already knows what I will do. No need to say, 'Take this, take that.' We already know everything. We've been together for three years," Hasan said.

The twins said they were drafted during the partial mobilization. The brothers spend their entire lives together: older brother Hasan often takes the initiative. They went through conscription together, training as mortarmen, which determined their assignment to the SVO.

Huseyn considers Hasan to be very kind and calm. However, his twin tends to tell the truth to his face and would never spread rumors behind his back.

"My brother always comes first, I am behind him, no matter what, no matter when. And so - as he will prove himself at work, as it turns out, so it will be. And go - here I am, there is no such thing," noted Huseyn.

So that their parents wouldn't worry, the fighters first told their relatives that they were serving in Russia's border regions. Later everyone learned the truth, but no one stopped supporting the brothers, especially when one of them was wounded by a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) tank shell that exploded nearby.

"I didn't feel it particularly. I don't know, maybe it was shock. The wound was through and through, not serious. I was taken to the medical group, where I received first aid, and then I went to the city. In the city they gave me painkillers, bandages - everything was done," Huseyn recalled.

Hasan confessed that after the incident his brother was missing. Rehabilitation separated them for three months. It was the longest time the men had been separated in their entire lives.

The fighters fulfill their tasks in a clear and well-coordinated manner, just like other units and gun crews of the Russian Armed Forces. They emphasized that in the ranks of the Russian military everyone is equal, everyone does his job.

"Everyone is the same here. One to save one, another not to save - there is no such thing here. We are all the same, we are all equal, and everyone does his job," Hasan clarified.

Now the brothers are carrying out combat missions in Kursk Oblast.

Earlier, on December 9, the commander of the assault squadron of the Guards, Major Major Hero of Russia Vladimir Teslo told about the work of storm troopers in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). He received his rank in 2023 after the heroic death of Guards Lieutenant Andrei Ryabtsev. Already in November of the same year, his squad's storm troopers managed to break through the Ukrainian militants' defenses in the village of Krasnogorovka, take possession of a well-fortified stronghold, and in December - take the fortified area despite four hours of shelling.

In total, the assault detachment under the command of Guards Major Teslo destroyed up to 650 enemy soldiers and 27 units of military equipment. He received the title of Hero of Russia on February 5, 2024 for bravery and courage in the performance of military duty.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
