Russian military destroyed an AFU dugout in Zaporizhzhya region


Artillerymen of the 58th Combined Armed Forces Army of the Dnipro group of forces have destroyed a dugout with Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) servicemen who were camouflaged in a forest belt in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 11.
Having received data from reconnaissance, the calculation of 152-millimeter D-20 gun aimed the target and hit it with an accurate shot.
"The division's task is artillery support and preparation of offensive actions <...> and defense <...> of our regiment. <...> We suppress the work of enemy artillery, infantry destroy. We fulfill all the tasks successfully," said the commander of the division with the call sign Prospect about the work of his unit.
Artillerymen work around the clock in any weather conditions, but trained units need only a few minutes to receive coordinates and fulfill the assigned combat task.
Earlier, on December 6, the Russian Defense Ministry showed how an anti-tank missile system (ATMS) of the Airborne Troops' artillery unit destroyed a repeater of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control point on Pervomaysky Island in the Dnieper estuary.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
