There is no question of freezing Moscow's membership in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). This was stated in an interview with Izvestia by Alexander Lukashevich, Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE.

"About the freeze. I can't tell you - no such instructions have come from the leadership of our country so far," Lukashevich said.

In July 2024, the State Duma and the Sovfed adopted a joint statement on the suspension of Russian participation in the work of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
