Transportation stops will be prohibited on Sviridova Street in Lipetsk

The Department of Road Maintenance and Improvement has decided to ban parking on Sviridova Street in Lipetsk. Such measures were decided to introduce after complaints from residents of neighborhoods 28, 29, Evropeisky and Pobeda, reports the press service of the mayor's office on Tuesday, December 10.

Sign 3.27, prohibiting stopping and parking, decided to install to improve traffic safety and unimpeded cleaning of the roadway. According to GOROD48, Sviridova Street has long been a place of truck parking, which complicates the road situation and prevents snow cleaning.

The same restrictions recently became effective on the section of Stakhanov Street from Sviridova to Voronezh highway. It is also impossible to park from 08:00 to 17:00 on Belan Street on the section from Stakhanov to Merkulov.

As explained in the city administration, signs "Stopping forbidden" will appear on other streets: Dovatora, Smurgis, Nedelina, Vodopyanova, Marina Raskova and Petr Smorodin, Pobedy and 60th Anniversary of the USSR avenues.
