An-2 airplane in Yamal made an emergency landing

An An-2 aircraft of Mobil Avia made an emergency landing at a distance of about a kilometer from the Tambey landing site in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District (YNAO), Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) spokesman Artem Korenyako said on December 10.

"In the afternoon, December 10, an An-2 aircraft (registration number RA-40418) of Mobil Avia made an emergency landing at a distance of about a kilometer from the Tambey landing site in Yamal." <...> According to the operator's data, there were eight people on board the aircraft: two crew members and six passengers," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the forced landing.

Rosaviatsia classified the incident as an accident. The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) with the participation of the Tyumen MTU of Rosaviatsia will investigate the causes of the incident, Korenyako said.
