Traffic on the new bridge over the Zolotaya River was opened in Primorsky Krai

In the Pogranichny District of Primorsky Krai opened traffic on a new bridge over the Zolotaya River. The regional government reports about it on Tuesday, December 10.

"The condition of the old bridge crossing has sharply deteriorated. In connection with the threat of collapse the Ministry of transport was promptly prepared documentation for reconstruction. The contractor built a new bridge in less than a year", - said the head of the regional Ministry of Transport Alexei Ignatenko.

The contractor at the site was the company "VSK-1". Bridge builders erected a new crossing for eight months, and the emergency bridge was dismantled, writes IA PrimaMedia.

The bridge over Zolotaya is located on the only highway leading to the border crossing point Pogranichny on the border with China. Its length is 175.6 meters.
