Air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the Bryansk region

Air defense means have destroyed a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Bryansk Region. This was reported by regional governor Alexander Bogomaz on December 10.

"An attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack with the use of UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region has been foiled," he noted in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz specified that there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the attack. According to the head of the region, operational and emergency services are working at the scene.

Earlier, on December 5, the Russian Defense Ministry reported about the attack of 14 drones on the territory of the Bryansk region. On the same day, the Governor of the region specified that there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the incident.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
