Central Bank analysts told about the impact of ruble weakening on price growth at the end of November

Weakening of the ruble in the second half of November somewhat affected the price dynamics in late November - early December. At the same time, strengthening of the national currency exchange rate may mitigate this impulse, said December 10 in the bulletin "What Trends Say", prepared by the Department of Research and Forecasting of the Central Bank of Russia.

Earlier, December 6, the head of Sberbank German Gref said that there is no room for a serious weakening of the ruble. In his opinion, the dollar rate at the end of the next year, 2025 will be approximately 112-115 rubles. At the same time, he admitted that while some weakening of the national currency is indeed present, but no surprises are expected: the ruble exchange rate will fluctuate depending on the situation.
