The specialist noted that the brain is a carrier of a limited amount of information, and if you put "dirty" and useless content into it, there will be no space left for something useful.

"For example, a child who starts watching a variety of videos at the age of 4-5, lacks the time and resources to assimilate useful information in the present and further," the expert said in a conversation with Radio 1.

Neuropsychologist noted that there is content 18 +, and it is necessary to comply with these recommendations, because children do not have a formed nervous system

"I am against children under 6-7 years old consuming more than 10-15 minutes a day of digital content. This is an unambiguous taboo, because a child does not need more," Maximenko emphasized.

According to her, the consequences of uncontrolled absorption of useless content can lead to the so-called "brain decay".

"It is necessary to monitor the younger generation, independently they can not filter and proportion the received useful and useless information, and this can cause harm," - concluded the expert.
