In the Yaroslavl region, the rules for selling alcohol will be tightened

In the Yaroslavl region from March 1, 2025 will come into force a ban on the sale of alcohol from 23:00 to 08:00 in catering establishments located in residential buildings. This was announced by the head of the region Mikhail Evraev in his Telegram on December 10.
"In addition, we introduce a ban on the sale of alcohol in catering establishments (except restaurants) located in residential buildings, from 23:00 to 08:00," - stated in the publication.
If a catering establishment is located in an apartment building, it will be possible to sell alcohol in such a place only if there is a visitor service hall with an area of at least 25 square meters, the Governor added.
It is noted that the measures are aimed at reducing alcohol consumption and combating its illicit trafficking.
Earlier, on December 3, the order of the Ministry of Finance, prescribing to monitor the illegal production of alcohol from space, came into force. The amendments prescribe the use of data obtained by remote sensing of the Earth by satellites to detect fluctuations in heat emissions from the building and the presence of smoke, as well as to track the movement of railroad and cargo transport near the building.
