Chery reveals Tiggo 9 equipment for Russia

The new seven-seat flagship crossover Chery Tiggo 9 will be offered in Russia in two configurations, sales will start on December 17. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on December 10. For customers who have made a reservation, the price of the car will be 4.19 million rubles.

The base configuration will include 19-inch disks, fully LED optics, support for VK services and a package of telematics functions, rearview camera combined with front and rear parking sensors, panoramic vision system, front and side airbags, security curtains and a full "winter" package.

Also, regardless of the version, the crossover will be equipped with a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control, projection display, wireless charging with ventilation and cooling, eight music speakers, two screens (10.3 and 15.6 inches) and other options.

In the second and maximum configuration, the parker was equipped with 20-inch wheels, side parktronics, central and knee airbags, auto parking system, 14 speakers, massage function for the driver's seat and an extended ADAS assistant package.

The crossover is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0 engine (249 hp; 375 Nm) and an 8-speed automatic transmission, as well as an all-wheel drive system with a multi-plate clutch controlled electronically. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes eight seconds.

Several factors influence the price increase

On December 29, Chery announced that it will completely renew the model range in the Russian market. Thus, in 2025, updated versions and restyling of the Arrizo sedan, Tiggo 4 city crossover and family crossovers Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Tiggo 8 Pro Max are expected.
