A sixth-grade girl broke her arms during a physical education lesson near Tyumen

A sixth-grade student from the village of Chervishevo in the Tyumen District broke both her arms during a physical education lesson. The school was charged 200 thousand rubles, according to the court act on the case, which is at the disposal of Ura.ru news agency.
The girl performed the exercise "running from a low start". Having reached the finish line, the schoolgirl did not stop, but stretched her arms out in front of her and pressed them into the walls. The pain caused her to cry.
The physical education teacher examined the victim's arm and told her to sit on a bench for the rest of the lesson without referring her to the medical center. The student later went to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed her with a closed fracture of the radial bones of the left and right forearms.
The document says that the prosecutor's office demanded the school to pay Br700 thousand compensation to the victim. However, the final amount of payments under the court decision amounted to Br200 thousand.
According to representatives of the school, the girl knew that after the finish line it is necessary to slow down, ignored the rules announced by the teacher. After the lesson, the sixth-grader went home on her own.
Earlier in December it was reported that the State Duma proposed to reduce the number of lessons in schools to reduce the burden on students without compromising the quality of knowledge. Instead, more attention should be paid to extracurricular activities that help develop children's creative abilities and their social adaptation in society.
