In Yekaterinburg, an alimony debtor hid from bailiffs in a sofa

In Yekaterinburg, a woman who avoided paying child support to her child hid in a sofa during a visit of bailiffs. The footage was published on December 10 in social networks.

They show the debtor's cohabitant pretending that she is not at home.

According to the source of "Izvestia", the woman has already been brought to administrative responsibility for non-payment of alimony in the form of arrest for 10 days.

At the moment, the mother's debt amounts to 140 thousand rubles. A criminal case may be initiated against her for evasion of alimony payments.

Earlier, on October 25, the Ministry of Justice of Russia proposed to establish the obligation to pay alimony to adults under the age of 23, if they are educated in full-time education.

In May, family lawyer Mikhail Lisin said that measures to influence debtors on alimony should be toughened.
