- In Dagestan, an investigation was organized after a gas explosion in a residential building

After the explosion of a gas-air mixture in a residential building in Makhachkala, an investigation has been organized. This was reported on December 10 in the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Republic of Dagestan.
The agency specified that the explosion occurred on the third floor of a five-story house on Abubakarova Street, and confirmed that two people were injured. They were taken to hospital with burns of varying degrees of severity.
"On this fact, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Dagestan organized a procedural check", - said the republican IC in his Telegram-channel.
It is necessary to find out the reasons and circumstances of what happened. Investigators of the IC for Dagestan headed to the scene of the explosion.
"There are measures to dismantle the rubble. Now contact will be established with the affected citizens and they will be offered resettlement either in a temporary accommodation point or under a contract of hire at the expense of the administration for two months," Aval Salikhov, deputy head of Makhachkala's Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Department (Civil Defense and Emergency Situations), told Izvestia.
At the moment, the cause of the accident is being established, Salikhov added. The victims were taken to a burn center, their condition is being clarified.
The Dagestan Emergencies Ministry added that one of the victims was a man born in 1980.
Theexplosion in a residential building in Makhachkala occurred earlier in the day. The republican department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that window panes were damaged in the house. Footage from the scene shows that people gathered near the house and surrounded, presumably, one of the victims. Operational services - firefighters, police and ambulance - arrived on the scene.
