New generation buses and trucks introduced in Russia

Modern Transportation Technologies Group (STT Group) has presented a line of new generation buses with the capacity from 6 to 107 passengers and Valdai commercial vehicles manufactured in Nizhny Novgorod at the Urbantrans exhibition in Moscow. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on December 10.
The lineup includes both compact minibuses and city cars of medium and large capacity, running on various types of fuel. Thus, the exposition presents a four-wheel drive minibus Gazelle NN 4×4, a new generation school bus Gazelle NN and Russia's first serial low-floor electric bus of small class Gazelle e-City. The latter is widely unified in body and chassis elements with the diesel low-floor bus Gazelle City. The range on a single charge is 150 kilometers, there is a possibility of fast charging from 10 to 90% in 45 minutes.
Large and medium-sized buses for urban transportation are represented by two models of the new generation - low-floor city buses Citymax 9 (Pavlovsk Bus Plant) and Citymax 12 (Likino Bus Plant). The vehicles are built on unified platforms, which will be used to produce diesel, gas and electric buses of different capacity with different interior layouts. Both models are presented at the exhibition with engines running on environmentally friendly fuel - compressed natural gas (CNG).
A whole line of tourist buses - two large class models Cruise 11 (Kurgan Bus Plant) and Cruise 12 (Likino Bus Plant), a medium-sized bus Citymax 8 (Pavlovsk Bus Plant), as well as a small class model Gazelle City in the version for VIP transportation - were also brought to the exhibition.
In addition, at the Comtrans exhibition at Expocenter, STT Group presented a new family of Valdai trucks. These are medium-duty trucks with GVW of 8 tons and 12 tons produced by Gorky Automobile Plant, as well as large-duty models with GVW of 18 tons and 45 tons produced by Nizhny Novgorod Trucks. The central place in the exposition was occupied by the Valdai 45 long-haul tractor, designed to work as part of a road train with GVW of 45 tons. The truck is equipped with a 470-horsepower diesel engine and a 12-speed automated gearbox, which facilitates the driver's work and increases the fuel efficiency of the machine.
On the eve it became known that in the Russian Federation will launch unmanned transportation of goods on "Gazelles". This was reported to "Izvestia" in the Fund for support of projects of the National Technological Initiative (NTI). They specified that such a solution was created based on the results of a technological competition and will be immediately applied in commercial transportation.
