Izmailovsky court of Moscow has sentenced Olga Mirimskaya, ex-chairman of the board of directors of the Bank of Corporate Finance (BCF), the founder of the Russian Product company, to 19 years in a general regime colony. This was reported by the correspondent of "Izvestia" on Tuesday, December 10.

Also, the former head of the bank was ordered to pay a fine of 400 million rubles. She did not admit her guilt.

According to the investigation, Mirimskaya gave two bribes with cars to former Moscow Region investigator Yuri Nosov within the framework of the case, in which she was a victim, and tried to give three more to judges of the Presnensky Court of Moscow and the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal. The total amount of the bribes is about $1.8 million (approximately 179 million rubles).

Nosov, who was also a defendant in the case, was sentenced to 11 years in a general regime colony for taking bribes. He was deprived of the rank of lieutenant colonel of justice and the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies for 10 years after serving his sentence, and was also ordered to pay a fine of more than 55 million rubles.

Mirimskaya's detention and arrest became known in December 2021. The press service of the capital's courts of general jurisdiction indicated at that time that she was charged under part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Giving a bribe"). At a hearing on October 14, 2024, the prosecutor petitioned for Mirimskaya to be sentenced to 20 years in prison with a fine of 500 million rubles.

In 2015, Forbes included Mirimskaya in its list of Russia's richest women, where she ranked 22nd with a fortune of $100 million.
