Russian air defense forces have shot down three Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 10.

It was specified that the attack was foiled from 10:40 to 11:10 Moscow time.

"On-duty air defense means destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the waters of the Black Sea near the Crimean peninsula," - said in the message of the Defense Ministry.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Saratov region reported the suppression of an attack by Ukrainian drones on a military airfield in the region. According to preliminary information, there was no destruction and no casualties.

On December 9, the governor of Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported three civilians injured by a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) drone attack. On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense assets destroyed 13 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over Russian regions.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
