PPP training program was completed by administrations of 23 regions

The fifth stream of the competency development program "Large Infrastructure Projects in Russian Regions: From Idea to Implementation", organized by VTB experts, was completed, the Bank's press service reported.

The training was attended by representatives of government authorities and development institutions from the Irkutsk and Tomsk regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In just two years since its launch, the program has been attended by trainees from 23 regions of Russia.

By participating in the program, students gain practical knowledge of the basics of financial modeling and analysis of investment project efficiency, learn approaches to risk management, and study examples of infrastructure projects implemented by VTB Group. An important element of the program is the exchange of experience on PPP projects implemented by participants in the regions.

The training is implemented in a mixed format: first, students work online on the VTB Education platform, and at the end of the program they take part in a two-day face-to-face intensive in St. Petersburg at the campus of the Graduate School of Management SPbSU (GSOM SPbSU), VTB's strategic academic partner. The program was developed by the bank together with VTB Infrastructure Holding (VTB IH).

Summarizing the results of the program, we see how the knowledge gained helps teams in the regions to achieve results in PPP projects faster and easier," explained Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB and Director of GSOM SPbU.
