Polish military involvement in the Ukrainian conflict should be ruled out. This statement was made by the head of the National Security Bureau, Jacek Severa, on December 10.

"As of today, it is necessary to exclude the participation of Polish military personnel [in the conflict] in Ukraine," he said on TVN24.

He added that after the expansion of mobilization, Ukraine would not be able to regain lost territories, among other things. According to him, "it will already be too small human resources."

On the eve of the leader of the French party "Patriots" Florian Philippot did not rule out the elaboration of plans by the head of state Emmanuel Macron to send troops to Ukraine before the inauguration of the winner of the US presidential election Donald Trump. At the same time, a demonstration was held in Paris on December 1 against sending Western troops to Ukraine, as well as in support of halting arms deliveries to Kiev.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on December 4 that Germany would not send its troops to Ukraine. He also pointed out that it was premature to discuss further actions after a ceasefire and peace had been achieved.

Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
