France says Macron plans to send troops to Ukraine before Trump's inauguration

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on May 20, and French President Emmanuel Macron plan to speed up the dispatch of French troops to Ukraine before President-elect Donald Trump takes power in the United States. The leader of the Patriots party, Florian Philippot, said on social network X (formerly Twitter) on December 9.
"In the explosive environment created by hawks around the world before Trump comes to power, perhaps Macron and Zelensky will speed things up and French soldiers will go to Ukraine," the politician wrote.
Earlier, on December 3, the leader of the party "Arise, France" Nicolas Dupont-Eignan said in a video on his YouTube channel that French President Emmanuel Macron has lost authority and credibility as a result of the financial chaos he allowed and his commitment to US President Joe Biden.
On December 2, Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party, said that the new head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas , wants to "spill the blood of Europeans" to serve the interests of globalist oligarchs. The politician also pointed out that the EU is "increasingly mad" about the Ukrainian conflict. In conclusion, the head of the French Patriots party called on Paris to withdraw from the EU and NATO as soon as possible.
On the same day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the French authorities were fanning the Ukrainian conflict despite their national interests. She also noted that France was in historical oblivion.
The leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, also pointed out on November 26 that the French president would be a traitor to his country if he sent troops to Ukraine. At the same time, Macron said back in May that the conditions for this would be a request from Kiev or a breakthrough of Russian troops at the front.
In turn, the head of the French party "People's Republican Union" Francois Asselino demanded a vote of no confidence in the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier for its bellicose stance against Russia. He emphasized that this topic is very important because there is a danger of a third world war.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to defend Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022. The decision to conduct it was taken by Russia because of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to the increased shelling by Ukrainian troops.
