Balitsky reported the need to rebuild Rabotino anew

The Rabotino settlement in Zaporizhzhya Region, which used to be occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), was so badly destroyed during the hostilities that it should be rebuilt rather than restored. This was reported by the governor of Zaporizhzhya region Yevhen Balitsky on December 10.
According to him, there is nothing to restore in the settlement, and there are only hulks left there, which will be easier to demolish.
"If we need the settlement there, we will restore it. But in terms of building a new one. Because the word 'restoration' is no longer suitable for this settlement," Balitsky told RIA Novosti.
He also noted that if necessary, the authorities of the region will discuss the issue of restoration of the settlement with the Russian government.
Earlier, on November 5, Russian servicemen repulsed two counterattacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces north of Rabotino in Zaporizhzhya region in the Orekhovsky direction. The chairman of the Russian Public Chamber's commission on sovereignty issues and co-chairman of the coordination council for the integration of new regions, Volodymyr Rogov, said that the Ukrainian militants attacked in large groups, supported by artillery and attack drones, which has not happened on this section of the front for a long time.
Before that, on September 26, it was reported that in Zaporizhzhya region, north of Rabotino, a D-30 gun of the Dnipro group of troops hit a control center with AFU personnel.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
