The video shows the work of Russian military personnel who are engaged in mine clearance, working in small groups of 3-4 people in several shifts.

"There is more and more work in the liberated territories, because the enemy leaves behind a lot (of ammunition. — Ed.) to stop the advance of our troops," said Viktor Kuhalsky, commander of the 91st Engineer Sapper regiment.

According to Igor Tereshchenko, commander of the mine clearance group, priority is given to clearing logistical routes: roads, roadsides, and adjacent territories. In homes, much attention is paid to basements, in which abandoned caches of ammunition of the Armed Forces are often found Ukraine (APU).

Despite the fact that the enemy has been driven back a considerable distance from Selidovo, Ukrainian militants are still dropping anti-tank mines using industrial unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Moreover, it has been established that in order to inflict more damage to civilian infrastructure, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have mined wells and approaches to water wells.

When an explosive device is detected, bomb disposal engineers assess the situation and, if possible, remove the explosives for further disposal. If extraction is not possible, the dangerous device is destroyed on the spot.

The engineering and sapper division of the Center group of forces plays an important role in advancing the Russian Armed Forces and ensuring the safety of civilians.

Earlier in the day, it became known that Ukraine uses Western-made projectiles that are banned internationally. Thus, Kiev is trying to slow down the advance of Russian troops along the entire line of contact.
