The DNR declassified evidence of Nazi killings of civilians during World War II

The Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) has declassified documents with evidence of mass killings of civilians on the territory of Donbass in the period from 1941 to 1943. This was reported on December 10 by the official representative of the republican department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation Arina Klepanova.
"From the first days of the treacherous invasion of fascist invaders on the territory of Donbass, the occupants created punitive bodies that were engaged in the extermination of communists, Soviet activists, partisans and civilians," Klepanova reported.
Moreover, Dinkel Alexander Gustavovich and Ponomarev Ivan Andreyevich were active participants in the fascist punitive activities.
Dinkel was the head of the police and directed punitive operations in the occupied territories, as well as gave orders to Ponomarev and other subordinates to arrest and shoot Soviet citizens. In addition, he personally participated in Nazi offenses against residents of the DNR.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) continues to work on analyzing archival documentation within the framework of the project "Without Statute of Limitations", aimed at processing information that may contain information about crimes committed against civilians of Donbass during the Great Patriotic War.
Earlier, on December 6, the Russian Federal Security Service released archives about the punishers of the German regiment "Brandenburg-800". As follows from the archival data, the main tasks of the "Brandenburgers" were the capture of strategic facilities, sabotage, reconnaissance, as well as the capture of prisoners. At the same time, the German regiment used the tactics of "scorched earth" and brutally killed civilians.
Before that, on November 27, the FSB published protocol documents of 1945 with the testimony of a Latvian punisher from the archives of the archive of the Russian FSB Department for Omsk region, in which it is stated that during the Great Patriotic War among the Latvian punitive units were police battalions - paramilitary units formed by the German military command on the territory of occupied Latvia from the local auxiliary police, volunteers and mobilized. It is specified that later police battalions became the basis for the formation of the Latvian SS Volunteer Legion by the Nazis.
