Macron is going to convene political parties to create a new government

French President Emmanuel Macron on December 10 plans to convene all political parties that are willing to compromise in order to form a new government. This was reported by Reuters on December 9.
According to the publication, neither the extreme right-wing party "National Rally", nor the left-wing party "Unconquered France" do not want to be invited to the event.
Earlier, on December 7, it became known about a large-scale protest held in Paris during the meeting at the Elysee Palace of the head of France and US President-elect Donald Trump. Protesters called for the resignation of the leader of the country.
On the eve of the founder of the party "Unconquered France" Jean-Luc Mélenchon said that Macron does not understand how the parliament works. According to Mélenchon, the French President should resign in order for the people to go to the presidential elections.
Earlier, on December 6, Sergei Fedorov, a leading researcher at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said in a conversation with Izvestia that the possibility of Macron's resignation was being discussed amid the political crisis in France. However, the likelihood of such a scenario is low, as the impeachment procedure is very difficult to carry out.
During an address to the nation on December 5, Macron said that he was not going to leave the presidency until the end of his term in 2027. He also reminded that he will not be able to run for re-election.
Prior to that, on December 4, the French National Assembly (lower house of parliament) passed a resolution of no confidence in the government. 331 deputies voted for the vote of no confidence. The leader of the party "Rise, France" Nicolas Dupont-Eignan called the reason for the loss of confidence in Macron financial chaos and his commitment to U.S. President Joe Biden.
