A VK Christmas tree was installed in Moscow 's Gorky Park on December 9. It will be registered in the Russian Book of Records as the largest trunk New Year's tree in the country.

The height of the spruce reaches 30 meters, the size of the light tent - 60 meters.

There are more than 130 toys on the tree. Its main decorations are VK Video balloons.

A forest beauty will come to the Kremlin from the Znamenka village near Moscow

Earlier in the day near the village of Znamenka, Mozhaisky district cut down the main Christmas tree of Russia. Almost half a year it was chosen among 25 trees. This year's winner is 90 years old. Its height is 30 meters, it is 5 cm taller than last year's tree, its trunk diameter is 60 cm. It will be delivered to the Kremlin through the Spasskiye Vorota, after which it will be installed on the Cathedral Square of the Moscow Kremlin.
