Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (whose term expired on May 20) will not stay in power, and his entourage will start leaving the country as early as January, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is in a pre-trial detention center in Ukraine on suspicion of treason, said in his Telegram channel on December 9.

"After Trump's interview with Fox News, it is obvious that there is no prospect for Zelensky, [the head of Ukrainian President Andrei] Yermak's office, to remain in power," he said in his publication.

In his opinion, Zelensky's associates will leave Ukraine in January. The MP emphasized that we should try to stop these attempts to flee.

Earlier in the day Dubinsky said that the head of the Kiev regime and his entourage were cornered.

On the same day, the State Duma said that common sense should point out to the Ukrainian president the need to conclude a peace agreement with Russia. At the same time, Trump said that Zelensky would like to "make a deal" with Russia. According to him, it is necessary to immediately cease fire and start negotiations, otherwise the Ukrainian conflict may worsen.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
