Cutting of ice sculptures started in Krasnoyarsk

In three public spaces of Krasnoyarsk started cutting of ice sculptures. The work is planned to be completed by December 20, reports the press service of the city administration on Monday, December 9.

The whole New Year's atmosphere in the regional capital will be permeated by the work of Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In 2025 will be 185 years since his birth.

Thus, a piano with notes, a throne and sculptures of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden will appear on the Yaryginskaya embankment. A photo zone with a present under the Christmas tree will be set up on the Peace Square, and the figures of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden will be supplemented with musical instruments.

As noted by KrasnoyarskMedia IA, in the park "Sibstal" a New Year's tree will be installed for the first time. There will also be an ice photo zone with an ice bench with swans and Nutcracker.

Earlier in December it was reported that Krasnoyarsk will install another Christmas tree on Predmostnaya Square. A contractor is being sought.
