Stavropol was recognized as the best health resort in Russia

The Stavropol Territory has won the national tourist award Russian Traveler Awards 2024. The region won the title of the best health resort in Russia, the press service of the governor and the regional government reported on Monday, December 9.

The success was largely due to the professionalism of industry workers and the implementation of national projects, said Minister of Tourism and Health Resorts of the region Andrei Tolbatov.

In 2024, more than 8 million guests will visit Stavropol. Thus, during the summer of 2024 the regional capital was visited by 54 thousand travelers, which is 16% more than a year earlier.

The prize is awarded in more than 20 nominations. The winners of the competition are determined on the website by voting, writes IA StavropolMedia.

Earlier, in November, it was reported that a new modern wellness center was opened in Stavropol region on the basis of the sanatorium "Mashuk Aqua-Therm". It includes a swimming pool, a fitness club, a gym, a geothermal complex and a spa.
