A court in Moscow has arrested actress Yana Troyanova in absentia

A court in Moscow has arrested actress Yana Troyanova (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent) in absentia on the case of incitement to hatred or hostility (Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This was reported by a source of "Izvestia" on December 9.

In early June, it was reported that Troyanova, who lives in France, published a video in which she publicly expresses support for calls to kill Russians, including children. The actress also blamed Russia for her alcoholism.

In the same month, the Moscow prosecutor's office sent materials to the Russian Investigative Committee to check the actress's statements. In July, Troyanova was added to the list of terrorists and extremists.

In 2022, the former top manager of the liquidated FBK (recognized as a foreign agent and extremist organization, its activities are banned in Russia) Leonid Volkov (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent, included in the list of terrorists and extremists) also expressed support for the murders of Russians during the special operation in Ukraine. On the air of the YouTube channel "Popular Politics", he thanked the Ukrainian army for "performing a sanitary function" by killing Russian servicemen.
