The crew of the Su-34 fighter of the Russian Air Force launched a strike against the AFU in the border area of the Kursk Region

The crew of a Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) has struck a cluster of personnel, armored and vehicle military equipment of the Ukrainian army in the border area of the Kursk Region. Footage of the combat performance was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 9.

"The strike was carried out on reconnaissance targets with aircraft bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK)," the ministry said in a statement.

After receiving information from intelligence about the destruction of military equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the Su-34 crews returned to the departure airfield.

Earlier in the day, an Army aviation crew on a Mi-28NM helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group in a border area of Kursk Region struck personnel and a stronghold with aerial missiles.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
