Putin included the Marine Instrumentation Corporation into the USC


By his decree, Russian President Vladimir Putin has included the Marine Instrumentation Corporation into the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC). The document was posted on December 9 on the portal of official publication of legal acts.
"To accept the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation on making as a contribution of the Russian Federation to the authorized capital of the joint-stock company "United Shipbuilding Corporation" <...> federally owned 100% of shares minus one share of JSC "Marine Instrumentation Corporation", - the text reads.
The measure is carried out as payment for additional shares placed by OSK in connection with an increase in its authorized capital. The share remaining in the federal management is transferred to OSK in trust management.
It is specified that the transfer of assets is aimed at improving the structure of organizations of the shipbuilding industry, as well as at developing the scientific and production potential of the state.
The decree comes into force from the day of its signing. The listed measures should be implemented by the government within six months.
Earlier, on November 8, Rosneft and VTB began negotiations on the entry of the shipbuilding complex Zvezda into the United Shipbuilding Corporation. The statement noted that Putin supported the consolidation of shipbuilding assets in the Far East to improve the efficiency of the industry.
