Lukashenko pardons 29 people for extremist crimes

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on pardoning 29 persons, who had committed crimes of extremist orientation. This was reported in the press service of the Belarusian leader on December 9.

The message notes that all 29 people repented of their crimes and appealed to Lukashenko with a petition for pardon. There are 11 women and 18 men among the pardoned. The press service specified that among them there are six people under 25 years old, three pensioners, two disabled, while 15 people have chronic diseases.

It stressed that the law-abiding behavior of the pardoned will be controlled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country of the Republic, adds "Gazeta.Ru".

Earlier, November 7, Lukashenko decided to pardon 31 people, convicted of extremist crimes. Then among the pardoned were two women and 29 men: three of them are disabled, while 17 suffer from chronic diseases.

Prior to that, September 16, Lukashenko pardoned 37 people convicted of crimes of the same orientation. It was noted that among the pardoned six women, many of whom have disabilities, are pensioners and suffer from chronic diseases.
