Fire engulfs former motorcycle factory in the Sverdlovsk region

A fire broke out on the territory of the former motorcycle factory in the town of Irbit, Sverdlovsk region. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 9 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

According to the rescue service, tires on the area of 225 square meters caught fire. It is specified that the building is not operated, there is no threat of fire spread.

Two units of equipment and eight people were involved in extinguishing. There are no casualties.

Earlier, on the night of December 5, in Dzerzhinsky near Moscow, a frame-metal warehouse caught fire. According to the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the fire engulfed the hangar on an area of 1.1 thousand square meters. m. Inside the warehouse there were waste paper and loading equipment. To extinguish the fire involved 44 specialists and 14 units of equipment. Later it became known that the open burning was liquidated.
