The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections rose by 6.4% over the week in the Lipetsk region

Over the past week, more than 5.6 thousand residents of the Lipetsk Region went to doctors with signs of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The level of morbidity increased by 6.4%.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, viruses of non-influenza etiology are circulating in the region. Cases of influenza during the week were not detected, specifies GOROD48. 494 thousand adults and 166 thousand children were vaccinated against influenza.

Lipetsk accounts for 65.8% of the morbidity rate. The number of the sick remains well below the epidemic threshold.

An increase in the incidence of ARVI and influenza in Russia is expected from mid-December.
