Court in Crimea sentences man found guilty of state treason to 15 years in prison

The Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced a 33-year-old resident of Simferopol district, found guilty of treason, to 15 years in prison. This was reported on December 9 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Republic.
It is established that the man from December 2022 to March 2023 collected and transmitted in messenger information about the movement of the Russian army on the highway "Tavrida", as well as about the military facility under construction to representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is specified that this information could be used against the state security of the Russian Federation. Employees of the FSSB of Russia in Crimea and Sevastopol suppressed the actions of the man.
"The court agreed with the position of the state prosecutor and sentenced the man to 15 years of imprisonment with serving the sentence in a penal colony of strict regime with restriction of freedom for one year", - stated in the Telegram-channel.
Earlier, on November 18, FSB and Rosgvardiya officers detained a resident of Mariupol for calling for violence against Russians in social networks. He repeatedly published in a publicly available chat room in one of the messengers calls to carry out violent actions against Russians.
On November 28, the press service of the Federal Security Service of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) said that a criminal case under the article "State treason" (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) had been opened against the man.
